Meet The Point of No Return Players

The Point of No Return players are a diverse and interesting bunch of community theatre actors and entertainers. When the troupe members aren't doing improv, they can be found in various productions and activities:

Angie Austin

Angie Austin is a student at Kent State University. She loves improv and would like to go to Second City when she graduates. She also loves musical theatre and is currently learning to fly so she can be in the upcoming Quiddich musical. She figures that's the only good use for a broom in today's society anyway.

Richard Harris

Richard Harrison was born in Staffordshire, England, in a small thatched cottage that he built with his own hands. After being exiled to the Colonies, he created a Wonderful Toy Store, THE LAND OF MAKE BELIEVE, which is in Hudson Ohio, though many believe it exists only in his own mind. He is currently residing in Stow, doing occasional storytellings, biding his time until he can gather enough followers to regain the throne of England, which is rightfully his.

Bob Coppedge

Bob Coppedge is a founding member of PNR, has performed with ANTIC Community Theatre and Streetsboro Community Theatre. He is a graduate of the Conservatory at Second City training center in Cleveland, and he owns an IT consulting firm. www.Simplex-IT.com

  Robyn Cooper

Robyn Cooper sells Seashells by the Seashore. When she’s not busy with that she can be seen on PNR’s stage performing improv. She has 2 very tolerant children: Randy and K-san and helps manage Innovative Title and Escrow Services, LLC., which you can use for all of your Real Estate needs.

Joel Kirk

Joel Kirk joins PNR after taking a few years of “state mandated” leave from Improv. Previous to PNR, Joel performed with Asylum Improv in San Francisco, CA. Joel has stage credits including, Willy Wonka (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), Pinocchio and Herman (Sweet Charity). Joel is looking to get involved in more Ohio community theater. He has previously performed with Burlingame Community Theater (Burlingame CA) and Pacifica Players (Pacifica, CA).

  Ruben Ryan

Ruben Ryan has been with the troupe almost from the beginning. . . of time! That is if you believe time to be a constant, instead of a linear progression. It sure as get-out ain't that circular crap. When not busy contemplating time and space and doing improv with Point of No Return, he's busy doing improv at Kent State, where he is the president of the Portage County Players. He has also performed at various local theaters (in plays no less) such as the Bang and Clatter and the Karamu House.

Phil Skoff

Phil Skoff has been involved with Hudson Players and ANTIC Community Theatre. He will also appear in "Circle Track Summer." Phil is owner of MVP Electronics in Cuyahoga Falls.

  Susan Stofka

Susan Stofka is a founding member and PNR's secretary. She has performed with ANTIC Community Theatre. She is currently employed by a lobbying consulting firm in Akron.
